Bloc Party, banda origianaria de Londres...Reino Unido. Se formó en el año 1998 cuando el vocalista conoció a quien sería guitarrista del grupo en una edición del festival de musica de Reading.
No siempre se han llamado así...en un comienzo se llamaban ''Angel Rage'', luego pasaron a ser ''Union'' y finalmente, en el año 2003, tomaron el nombre con el que hoy los conocemos : ''Bloc Party ''
